WAY back when Andrew was just a babe, my friend Karen started St. Anne's Mother Support Group. It was really the first thing that I intentionally left the house for after he was born & it was fabulous! She hosted a reunion picnic at her home last week. Here's some of the happy crowd.

It's so wild to see all of our now big kids together running around, riding bikes, catching frogs, & being crazy together. It seems like not long ago they were battling to see who could handle tummy time the longest without wailing. They had so much fun together!

These women taught me so much about being a mom. They taught me what new things to try (or not), to rely on others for help, to ASK when you don't know what to do, & above all to trust that if you are truly trying to love with your whole heart, God will help you find a way to make it through any ugly "phase" that may come your way. I'm so grateful for their friendship & support. I feel like we really grew up together as moms. Thanks, Karen, for introducing me to such a fabulous group of Catholic women!
