Round 2

Happy Birthday to our little Teresa! It's hard to believe you are two already... though your actions have been rather "terrible two"ish since you were nine months old! You are such a thrill seeker, quick learner, & bundle of sweetness. That's quite the combo to love. :)

Just like your brother, you ran to see what was on the table on birthday morning. But unlike him, you oogled at the bunny card for a minute & then started tearing into presents. You snuggled your new froggy pajamas & immediately put on your backpack. Amazingly, you waited until right before lunch to tear into this big box.

It was a super cute cradle/buggy/stroller from Green Grandma & Grandpa. After the half hour it took to put it together, you drove off with it & have barely let it out of your sight since. It's perfect for you!

Unfortunately, your day was punctuated with a brother & mommy running to the doctor's office & then home sick. But you still managed to have plenty of fun. We read lots of books, bubble mowed the sidewalk, chalked the driveway, & played LOTS of babies. You opted to leave your kitty pajama shirt on all day, eat pancakes for your birthday dinner, & have ice cream cones for dessert.

Though it wasn't your first ice cream cone, I'm pretty sure it was your first sugar cone, & your first experience eating one without my assistance. You kept saying, "It's not working!" as soon as you got down to the cone. Then you'd bite it & say, "It's working!" We're so thankful for your joyful, giggly, crazy, snuggly self. You are quite the gal & we love you very much.
