Starting on Good Friday, our family always prays the Divine Mercy novena. It's a simple & wonderful prayer that Darren really introduced me to before we were even married. Now it holds a special place in our family. We prayed a chaplet everyday & I even made that cute little novena counter that everyone has been showing lately. Mine wasn't quite as pretty but definitely motivational! Last year we prayed it each Wednesday with our GodTeens, so all of our kids have caught on. One night when Andrew & Darren were gone for some Cub Scout fun, Teresa even led it for Rebecca & me! Pretty cool.
When the novena was complete, we celebrated with Divine Mercy sundaes. ;)
